Admissions

The school operates an Early Admissions Policy whereby children are admitted to school in the September of the academic year in which they have their fifth birthday. Parents with children due to start school, or who have recently moved into the area, are asked to make an appointment with the Headteacher, to discuss the admission of their child. It is the school’s policy to encourage children who are to be admitted to the Reception class to visit the school on several occasions before starting school. This is done each Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning during the second half of the summer term. We aim to make the transition to school as smooth as possible.

The school has a Nursery opening in September 2008 and children can start at the beginning of the term after their third birthday. Parents should contact the school to make an appointment to visit the school and complete the admission form.
