Each year children from Years 5 and 6 get the opportunity to go to Sutherland Lodge Activity Centre, near Pickering, for a 3 day residential. In 2006 it was opened up to Years 3 and 4 who normally just enjoy the day trip.
During the three days the children enjoyed learning some skills to make them more independent like how to make a bed and preparing their own packed lunch.
