We invited our parents in to school to help us make these lanterns and some of us helped the younger children. On the night we lit the lights on the Christmas Tree, in the village, we caried our lanterns to the tree but unfortunately it was raining.
We used willow, tissue paper, twine, black sugar paper and a lot of glue!
Inside the pyramid shape we had a support for a tea light. We were not allowed a tea light in school and only used them on the walk to the Christmas Tree if we had an adult with us.
